We are looking for people, confident in canvassing residents whose properties have been identifed as paying too much for water costs.

This is NOT cold calling and all works being offered are totally free of charge.

Our client is working with local water authorities to help residents save money

Covering PL25, please ensure you are within commuting distance for you

Working for our client on a Water efficiency scheme, you will be the face for the residents to keep them fully informed of upcoming works and appointments, some knocking on doors to generate appointments, but it is to encourage uptake from Residents, this is not cold calling, it is more explaining what is being offered to them.

Previous experience in a similar position in sales or canvassing

You must be confident and have experience in door to door sales as this may be required, so a confident manner is essential


If you have skills in your current role which you could transfer over, and a background in Customer Service then this potentially could be your next career move.

Travel allowance paid per day

  • Previous experience of providing high level customer service to members of the public.
  • At least 1 year customer service experience.
  • Ability to interact sensitively with others.
  • Using computers and computer systems to enter data, or process information.
  • Effective complaints handling skills.
  • Proactive, selfmotivated and knows when to seek guidance.
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team to achieve common objectives.
  • A full driving licence and transport is essential

Experience:


  • Canvassing
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Sales (door to door)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
TRAVEL ALLOWANCE PER DAY IS IN ADDITION TO THE RATE OF 17 AN HOUR


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
