Graduate Freight Forwarder
Office based role
Location:
Selby
Salary:
up to £22,000 (dependant on experience)
Hours:
Mon-Fri / 8:30-17:30
Grafton Recruitment are looking for a Graduate Freight Forwarder to kickstart their career within Shipping & Logistics in the Selby area.
The role:
- Checking and managing the freight in transit and keeping clients informed
- General administration duties
- Raising and issuing invoices
- Raising of all of the necessary administration / paperwork
- Coordination of Freight operations from collection through to delivery
- Supplier liaison with the shipping lines and consolidator
- Calculating Freight Import quotations for customers
- Existing client liaison / Customer Service
You will need:
- A 2:1 degree.
- Own car / transport is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and administration skills
- Good IT Skills / Microsoft office
- Team player
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload
