Graduate Freight Forwarder
Office based role

Location:
Selby


Salary:
up to £22,000 (dependant on experience)

Hours:
Mon-Fri / 8:30-17:30


Grafton Recruitment are looking for a Graduate Freight Forwarder to kickstart their career within Shipping & Logistics in the Selby area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person who is looking for an opportunity to progress their career.


The role:


  • Checking and managing the freight in transit and keeping clients informed
  • General administration duties
  • Raising and issuing invoices
  • Raising of all of the necessary administration / paperwork
  • Coordination of Freight operations from collection through to delivery
  • Supplier liaison with the shipping lines and consolidator
  • Calculating Freight Import quotations for customers
  • Existing client liaison / Customer Service

You will need:


  • A 2:1 degree.
  • Own car / transport is desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and administration skills
  • Good IT Skills / Microsoft office
  • Team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload
