1:1 SEN support for a year 3 child with Autism.


A three from entry Primary School are looking for an experienced SEN TA to support a child in a year 3 classroom who has Autism.

You will be with the pupil on a full-time basis to deliver the aims of the child's Educational Healthcare Plan (EHCP)

  • 1:1 support with a pupil who has Autism.
  • Differentiate work and adapt the curriculum to fit the pupils needs.
  • Liaising with the SENCO to come up with visual rewards to motivate the child with their learning.
  • Working with the teacher and aiding them where necessary.
  • Embracing the core values and mission statement of the school.

  • A genuine desire to work 1:1 with a pupils who have additional needs.
This is a very rewarding job and the child in question is a lovely young boy.


Previous experience working 1:1 with an SEN child (particularly Autism) is desirable and education & psychology graduates will also be considered.


The school are seeking for someone to start immediately, therefore, it would be advantageous if your notice period is no longer than 2 weeks.

This role will also require a DBS check as well as 2 references.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm, Graduate


Salary:
£400.00-£475.00 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
