We're recruiting for a Fire Safety Works Project Supervisor based in either Portsmouth or Basingstoke, with the ability to work from home across our Hampshire hubs.

Here's the facts about the role:

As the Fire Safety Works Projects Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the on-site delivery of specialist fire safety projects and works, within VIVID's fire safety investment strategy and FRA (Fire Risk Assessment) programme.


You'll help plan all aspects of these projects and works, assisting with preparing specifications and tenders and directly supervising contractors and in-house staff.

You'll need to monitor and make sure spends are kept within budget, highlighting any unforeseen/unplanned works as they arise.


You'll carry out regular inspections and audits of work in progress, to help keep projects on track and anticipate any issues or delays proactively.

Liaising directly with customers, contractors and other external agencies and partners, you'll be a and confident and assertive communicator.


As part of your role, you'll be expected to undertake roof void inspections to identify any fire stopping and compartmentation works that may be required.

And that'll include installing low levels of essential fire safety signage where the need may arise.

A full driving licence with access to a car during the course of your work and capacity to carry a small set of ladders and basic tool kit is essential.
