    I am working with a medium-sized Geo-Environmental Consultancy who looking for a talented
    Geo-Environmental Consultant, to be based out of Stockport.

Overview


Our client's vision is to provide high quality, cost effective and pragmatic geotechnical, mining, geological and environmental services to their clients in the land, energy, retail, housing, commercial and property sectors.


They are growing gradually towards the long term ambition of providing a nationwide service and, due to increased workload, are looking to recruit a Geo-Environmental Consultant to assist with site investigation work, development of remedial strategies and geotechnical design work.


You will be joining an established team of geologists and environmental scientists, in Stockport, whose aim is to maintain their core values in an enjoyable working environment, where the expectations of staff as well as clients are always considered, responded to and achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Soil/rock logging,
  • Design of site investigations,
  • Assessment of soil/water contamination
  • Project management and reporting

Requirements:***- Relevant degree

  • Minimum 2 years' industry background
  • Background working for a similar consultancy or contracting practice
  • Ideally a background in soil/rock logging, design of site investigations, assessment of soil/water contamination, project management and reporting
  • A valid driving licence
