Are you an experienced Plant Manager looking for a new challenge?
You will carry out all levels of requested machine/plant administration & auditing associated with the Provision and Undertaking of Work Equipment Regulations ( PUWER ).
You will support the IPSM Manager with all infrastructure projects, building and delivering MI reporting and will help to deliver national throughput and cost metrics to ascertain machine capabilities, expense tracking and resource planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop effective relationships with Operational stakeholders and support the depots with their production needs and schedule repair/inspection work in accordance with PUWER
- Promote a safety culture within Restore and ensure unsafe behaviours are avoided
- Audit PUWER adherence, manage the AMS ( Asset Management System )
- Maintain stock control for vital parts and consumables.
- Provide P&E advice to National Ops team, proactively identify potential faults/risks and work with stakeholders to rectify
- Will be hands on, and will make repairs where possible. Will deliver training/guidance
- Effectively complete all necessary reports on time and ensuring the integrity of the data is correct
- Create and be responsible for an extensive repository for all P&E items, including manuals, schematics, commissioning certs' etc
- Be the first point of contact for external and internal customers, ensuring their requirements are understood, their interests are protected and they are regularly communicated to
ABOUT YOU
- Self motivated and disciplined, with a pragmatic and proactive approach to all challenges and day to day activities. Being able to manage your own workload
- Must be an assertive, clear confident communicator, both verbally and written
- Must show willingness to be 'hands on' and be physically involved with the plant/equipment
- Methodical and creative approach to problem solving
- High level of commitment and ability to work effectively alone, away from home and under pressure
- Ability to work at a fast pace, in a dynamic environment, meeting strict deadlines when needed
- Good MS Literacy skills, most notably Excel
- Full clean driving licence
