Description
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Theatre Store Person to join a dedicated, hard-working but rewarding team working in the Theatres Department based in the University Hospital Wishaw.
Devolved responsibility for the local procurement and maintenance of consumables within the Operating Theatre Department as advised by the Theatre Manager / Charge Nurses, in conjunction with the NHSL procurement team and local supplies department.
The post holder will need to be Flexible to the needs of the service, able to work shifts including night shift on call and have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant workplace/environment
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to take direction and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Effective communication skills; oral and written.
Ability to plan and organise own workload.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Effective computer skills.
