Cannock Chase Special Area of Conservation (SAC) sits in the heart of Cannock Chase National Landscape, Staffordshire. It covers just under 5 square miles and is protected principally for its internationally important heathland habitats.

The Engagement Wardens will support the other SAC Officers in delivery of the SAMMM by engaging with visitors, assist in monitoring impacts, providing information and encouraging visitors to protect and conserve the heathland by enjoying it without risking further habitat damage.
