The Senior Trusts Account Manager role will be to support the development and implementation of the organisations strategy.

Key Responsibilities for the new Senior Trusts Account Manager:

Support the Trusts Manager to develop and implement a strategy to raise funds from charitable trusts, foundations and benevolent funds.
Develop a portfolio of donor relationships with key trusts and statutory grantgivers and manage those relationships to maximum effect for the organisation, ensuring a strong engagement with our charitable work.
Working with the Trusts Manager, support the development and implementation of a strategy to raise grants from appropriate statutory sources.
Research, develop and write high quality funding proposals, stewardship reports and other key communication tools to attract charitable trusts, foundations and statutory grantgivers.
Ensure that a current and accurate record of all charitable trusts, foundations and statutory grantgiving relationships, strategies and activity be maintained on the fundraising database and relevant folders.

Previous experience and skills of the new Senior Trusts Account Manager:

Previous experience working in the charity sector in the trusts and grants team at a senior level
Track record of success in securing funds from charitable trusts, foundations and statutory grantgivers
Experience of successfully managing longterm relationships with a portfolio of funders
Experience of using CRM databases
