Leeds - Remote with monthly meet ups

If you love Agile, greenfield projects and a well organised Jira board, this could be for you.

We're looking for a Product Owner to join a web solutions technology company who have doubled in size over the last few years and intend to do the same again this year.

They were acquired by a large group around 20 months ago now and with more and more work coming through from the group, they've identified the need to hire Product Owners who can put processes in place and help them develop their Agile set up even further.

If you're looking for a step up and a role to make your own, this is it.

Projects are hugely varied, largely greenfield and range from quote and buy websites, to portals and intranets for the group.

We're looking for someone to work closely with the client team and the Development Manager and the three Scrum teams of Developersto gather requirements, create Jira tickets and manage a product backlog as well as putting processes in place and making them more Agile than they already are - each Scrum currently has a daily stand up, a weekly sprint planning meeting and tickets are scoredusing the Fibonacco scale.

This is a *remote role* with monthly meet ups in Leeds city centre. You must be UK based and within an hour or two of Leeds ideally.

The focus of the role will be:

Translating customer requirements into Jira tickets to be consumed by the development teams
Ordering and prioritising the product backlog, defining the product goal, and reevaluating and negotiating tasks with the team to meet changing requirements
Ensuring ontime and continuous delivery of quality software by optimising team allocated resources and leveraging Agile metrics
Organising and facilitating requirements gathering workshops, scoping sessions and interviews to ensure delivery of quality products
Being part of Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives
Hiring, coaching and mentoring junior and midlevel Product Owners

We're looking for someone with the above experience in this area who'd be confident being the first BA/Product Owner on the ground.

Someone who is process driven and will put procedures in place to ensure an even smoother delivery of each project and a morestreamlined way of working for the whole team.

As a minimum you'll have experience of: requirements gathering, client liaison, Jira, Agile, stories, epics and a comprehensive understanding of the full SDLC.
