Our client is a leading, privately owned kitchen manufacturer who have been enjoying a considerable period of growth.
Their customers include residential housing developers, social housing providers, independent retailers and merchants.

They are now looking for a Merchant Account Manager to be based in Yorkshire or the Northeast covering a region as far North as Southern Scotland, Yorkshire, Northeast and North Lincolnshire.

As a Merchant Account Manager your role will be to developrelationships with clients, with the aim of increasing our market share and delivering service excellence.

The role will be three days field and 2 days office/home based and will come with a competitive base, uncapped OTE and a company car.

You will needa full UK driving license due to the regional aspect of this role.


Account Manager - Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining business and partnerships through the existing Merchant accounts.
  • Achieving the sales and margin targets for kitchens and bedrooms for the territory.
  • Maintaining accurate records on current customers.
  • Monitoring and updating customer displays and merchandising on an ongoing basis.
  • Working with the Key Account Manager and other members of the Merchant Team on specific projects where required.

Account Manager - Required Skills

  • Previous or current account management, wholesale trade or showroom sales experience gained within a kitchen, furniture or bathroom led role.
  • A record of consistent sales achievement through exceptional account management & relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels to develop the existing relationships.
  • Willing to work as part of a dynamic team and achieve results to hit deadlines.
  • Computer literate, Selfmotivated and enthusiastic.
