Business Functions:

Dividend Operations manage and deliver over 1000 client dividend payments each year.

The planning and payment of a dividend is a core service to our clients, who expect the highest standard of quality and service to their shareholders.


The dividend product is fast moving and one of the most exciting and high profile places to work in EQ.

Everyday is different, with lots to learn and gain experience from. It's a varied role with a mixture of relationship building, analysis, teamwork andproblem solving.


Dividend Task Specialist Role Summary


To manage complex, high profile, high volume dividend payments from beginning of the timetable through to successful completion on payment date.


  • Be Key client contact for all things dividend; offering advice and guidance on the most effective method of delivering their payment with mínimal risk
  • Know your clients and become a centre of excellence regarding them; providing key information to others on team ensuring the smooth running of their payment.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Communicate and advise customers on the most effective method of paying their dividend
  • Analyse the details of dividend payments to identify, assess and manage risk, following appropriate controls in order to achieve a successful outcome with minimum of risk.
  • Anticipate and identify issues with the delivery of dividend payments or projects, resolving issues as required to ensure the successful outcome of the payment or project.
  • Carry out quality control work on your client's payments ensuring all work is completed accurately and that it meets all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Build a great rapport with you clients and your team.

  • Strong timemanagement skills
  • Multitasking ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems such as adobe
  • Solid interpersonal skills
