Meet our service user

Our service user is a lovely teenage boy who lives with his family in Blackburn, he requires support throughout the night on a 1:1 basis.

He enjoys watching cartoons, listening to music, and playing with his soft and fluffy toys.

To express his feelings and indicate his wants and needs he uses various facial expressions and sounds. It is important that you can understand and interpret his communication to avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated.

Throughout the night you will be required to attend to his complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, moving & handling, repositioning, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night's sleep.

Your role will also include supporting with his morning routine and getting him ready for his day ahead at school.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience
Personal Care
Moving and Handling
Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

Epilepsy Awareness
Gastrostomy Care

We have the following shifts available;

Part Time Nights
10pm 8am
2 Shifts Per Week between Saturday and Tuesday

Take a look at our pay rates

Weeknights:
£13.00 per hour (£130 approx. per 10hr shift)

Saturday :
£14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per 10hr shift)

Sunday :
£14.50 per hour (£145 approx. per 10hr shift)

Bank Holiday :
£15.00 per hour (£150 approx. per 10hr shift)
