We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, who can work proactively to identify opportunities to increase contractual compliance and completion.

This is a new role that sits with our Commercial Team.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for issuing and receiving contracts from local authorities and reporting on contractual compliance and completion.

You will coordinate between our team of Partnerships Managers, finance experts and key local authority stakeholders. You will ensure that underpinning every child's placement, there is an appropriately signed and dated contract in place.


As a Contracts Officer, you'll have worked in a similar role before, perhaps within the SEN and/or care sector, or with transferable skills and the appetite to learn.

This role requires close partnership working across the schools, homes and local authority by support, liaison and negotiation so experience of relationship management is a must.

Salary:
Base salary of £22,000 - £25,000

Here's what we need from you;

  • A proactive approach to ensuring 100% contractual compliance and resolving contract issues
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • A people person someone who cares, is empathetic and can translate Witherslack Group's ambition to provide aspirational futures through inspirational education and care
  • Ideally an understanding of children's SEN and/or care placements and experience of commissioning/contracts/procurement within the sector, or a comparable role with transferable skills
  • Understanding of the local authority environment and ability to work within this environment to meet Witherslack Group's objectives
  • Strong IT and analytical skills. Able to produce high quality reports and insights.
  • Tenacity and drive to meet or exceed targets
