Fixed term (until child leaves)

TSPT 3, Points 9-11

Hours: 21 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary:
£10,370 - £10,665 (FTE £20,754 - £21,344)

1 Position

Hours: 27 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Salary:
£13,333 - £13,712 (FTE £20,754 - £21,344)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work alongside and enable a pupil, who needs a high level of support to access the curriculum.

Ideally they will be able to show the following skills and attributes;

A variety of communication skills and flexibility to respond to the needs of the child and

work within staff teams

Use initiative and creativity to plan, deliver and monitor work
Empathy and understanding of children's individual learning abilities
Patience and a good sense of humour
Ideally have had experience of supporting children on the autistic spectrum, with speech

language and communication difficulties, with challenging behaviour and of removing barriers to learning across the curriculum
