Swindon - 50/50 Work From Home

£60,000-80,000 + Market-leading bonus scheme


Method Resourcing are proud to be partnering with a renewable and green energy provider/trader who are looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to join their team based in Swindon.

The core technical abilities and experience they are looking for include:

  • 3+ years experience in Python, SQL and Spark
  • Experience working in a cloudbased environment (ideally AWS)
  • Experience with at least one of the key tools in their data platform: Databricks, Dremio or Tableau
  • Experience with at least one JavaScript frontend framework such as React, Angular or Vue
  • Experience working with timeseries and forecast data

Other desirable skills include:

  • Experience with DevOps tooling such as Azure DevOps, Terraform and Docker
  • Experience with the likes of SQLAlchemy, FastAPI and GraphQL
  • Experience in the Energy sector is highly desirable


The role comes with a base salary of between £60-80k as well as a best-in-industry bonus scheme which, dependent on company performance, can range between 50-100%, with last years bonuses being between £10-30k.

The role is a 50/50 working layout, with the team based in Swindon.
