Northcoast Seafoods are one of the largest seafood businesses in Grimsby, with a Turnover in excess of £100m and we have an impressive growth record over the past 10 years which has been supported by many innovative new product launches.

Reporting to the site Technologist, we are seeking an experienced Food Specifications Technologist who will be responsible for the completion of retailer, customer and own brand specifications including the management and administration of the retailer systems.

The Role

Completion of finished products specifications for retailers.
Management of critical pathways, ensuring that specifications are delivered to the highest standard, i.e. right first time.
Management of online retailer systems, ensuring the timely completion and updating of specification and artwork systems.
Collaboration with all key stakeholders on product artwork creation, review and approval process to ensure full compliance with legal and customer specifications.
Support NPD team with nutritional calculations and submission form completion as part of the NPD process.
Participate in pre

- and post-launch meetings for NPD and EPD projects as required.

Work as an integral member of the Technical team networking with other internal departments, suppliers and the customer as required
Travel when needed
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with seafood knowledge and experience.
Basic understanding of Brexit coding requirements.
