Inventory Management and Asset Executive

Permanent role full time - office based

37.5-hour week, Mon-Fri between


Burgess Hill area based - due to rural office location it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.

Plenty of free parking on site.


Salary:
£28000-£37000 depending on experience plus very good company benefits.

The role:

An interesting and challenging role working in a fast-paced environment within the Procurement team.

You will have the opportunity to communicate across all levels of the business, developing internal relationships whilst assisting to drive the businessforward and develop your own career by building on your skills and knowledge.

The team are responsible for the management and control of company inventory.

The role will be to review and monitor customer demand to ensure optimum inventory levels are achieved to support business objectives.


Duties / responsibilities:

Analyse inventory addition requests for stock and specific customer requirements

Maintain optimum inventory levels to support the business

Co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure stock is maximised to full potential

Assist with review and management of large package purchases

Adhere to company processes and procedures

Review, maintain and provide reports as required

Assist with department training of new staff

Manage Asset department in-box

Assist the Asset Lead and undertake other duties as required

Assist Management and undertake projects as requested

Occasional travel to external sites


Skills, experience and competencies required:

Experience gained in an inventory management environment

Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management processes

High level of IT skills with comprehensive knowledge of Excel

Numerate and accurate with the ability to meet deadlines

Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels

Good organisational and time management skills

Ability to prioritise and manage workloads

Professional and courteous telephone manner

Experience of report creations

Experience of data analysis
