An opportunity has arisen within the HUC team for a records digitisation administrator.

The postholder will support the digitisation of records accrued and ensure the appropriate accuracy and ease of accessibility for these documents.

This will involve crosschecking existing scanned documents, as well as scanning on new information on a high-volume basis.


The role will provide an opportunity to use your attention to detail skills to support the organisation in project and is suited to an individual with lots of self-motivation who enjoys mínimal stress and a regular routine to their workload.

This role provides a flexible working pattern along with a possible job share. We are looking for a positive individual, with a process orientated mindset, ideally with some experience of administrative processes.

Whilst the role is only a 12-month contract,we hope that the role will lead you to further opportunities within the organisation.


Some Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all Health Records accrued during our previous critical incident are appropriately and accurately scanned, filed and digitised in accordance with established processes.
  • Utilising naming conventions to ensure standardised naming of records and files.
  • Undertake the completion of checklists for scanned records and clinical information.
  • Resolve any queries and problems concerning digitised information.
  • Support responses to requests for information relating to digitized information from the critical incident i.e. SAR's, insurance / solicitors letters by obtaining key information or records as required.
