We have been commissioned to deliver a new (SHPS) Family service in Enfield, working at the forefront of tackling homelessness in London.

Working with the Housing Options teams, this service supports families currently living in temporary accommodation into secure settled accommodation.

Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity.

We help single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change.


As a Family Caseworker, you will be responsible for assessing applicant's needs and then producing and delivering highly effective housing and resettlement plans, to achieve the applicant's housing goals.

To be part of our service we are looking for highly motivated individuals, who can hit the ground running and work to ensure that we really have an impact on our client's lives.


To be successful, you will have:

  • The ability to complete completing high quality family housing and resettlement plans which are collaborative and focused on setting and achieving goals.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, achieve targets and manage time effectively, prioritising different areas of work according to need.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with a number of different stakeholders in the public, private and voluntary sector to improve outcomes for clients.
  • An understanding of securing accommodation in the private rented sector; with a demonstrable knowledge of Housing and other related Legislation.
  • The ability to work within a specific model to engage and motivate people, to move towards an appropriate level of independence and inclusion.
