Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with special needs, including children with autism.
- Assist in implementing educational and behavioral programs for individuals with special needs.
- Support individuals in developing and improving their social, communication, and life skills.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals under your care.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Monitor and document progress and behaviors of individuals in your care.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other team members.
Skills:
- Experience working with children, particularly toddlers.
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
- Ability to educate and support individuals with special needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
