As a major division within the NHS National Services Scotland the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) plays a vital role not only in the health of the people of Scotland but also on an international scale through our leading position in new product development biomedical research and donor / clinical services.
Our goal is to maintain the highest standards of patient/donor care whilst remaining internationally competitive.The Donor Services Department is responsible for the planning and provision of adequate supplies of safe, high quality blood components for NHS Scotland in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multidisciplinary Donor Services Administration team within Donor & Transport Services (D&TS).The Post:
This post offers an exciting opportunity to provide professional administrative support and confidential secretarial services to the Head of Territory, Donor Operations & Resourcing Support Manager and the Admin department in the Northern Arch.
You must also possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to multi task and be able to work under pressure.
You must possess high working knowledge off Word, Excel and Access software packages whilst also having excellent key board skills.
Previous relevant healthcare administration experience is advantageous.A high level of competency in minute taking, meeting organisation and diary management is essential.
Location and Working Pattern:
Working days are four days (Monday to Thursday), 9-5, 30 hours per week.***
