With a presence in the Northwest region, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients and communities. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking experienced and skilled Overhead Linesmen to join our team.

As an Overhead Linesperson at IES Utilities Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the electrical infrastructure in the SPEN (Manweb) region


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead electrical lines (LV to 33kv) and equipment.
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify potential issues and taking corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and best practices in all aspects of your work.
  • Responding to emergencies and power outages promptly, contributing to the restoration of electrical services.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, working to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as an Overhead Linesman
  • Valid qualifications and certifications relevant to overhead line work.
  • A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.

Salary:
From £50,000.00 per year
