Responsibilities:


As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the class teacher, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' holistic development.


  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Support the learning of individuals and small groups, tailoring approaches to meet varying needs
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, inclusive space for all students
  • Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Contribute to the overall school community, participating in meetings and events

Requirements:


  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum, particularly in literacy and numeracy
  • Effective communication skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
  • Adaptability and the ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners
  • Empathy and patience when supporting students with additional educational needs
