- **Their practitioners focus on creating an independent environment, where their children can thrive and develop a sense of belonging, to help them overcome obstacles and problem-solve. Their social skills are enhanced to ensure that they maintain strong communication and language as well as physical development attributes to ensure they become school-ready by the time they graduate from Bluebells.


The main responsibilities of this job role will include:

  • Working towards Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
  • Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns whilst having fun.
  • Assisting the facility in meeting OFSTED requirements, which will also benefit in the Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Being a team player.
  • Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children appropriately to meet the Apprenticeship requirements.
  • Taking part in First Aid training as required.
  • Undertaking training as appropriate to meet any changes in the Apprenticeship Standards or appropriate legal requirements as required within the childcare setting.
  • Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Hygiene requirements are always adhered to during the Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery and management
  • Working with teams across the nursery setting
  • Supporting children's learning and development, including supporting planning and observations towards your Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
  • Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
  • Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
  • Supporting children's selfhelp needs.
  • Being creative and enthusiastic.
  • Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.
