Description
Utility Aid is the UK's largest energy broker to the charity sector operating from nine locations across the country. We're passionate about helping charities save money - savings that they can use in their front-line services.As an Energy Executive you will deliver revenue generating opportunities in your designated office.
You will be responsible for generating and signing New Business and Renewals from key accounts that you have acquired and will provide ongoing account management to maximize the opportunity whilst meeting agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales especially managing personal time and productivity.
- Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to deliver quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Use customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
- Ensure that targets set by the company are met.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
- Ensure maximum customer retention by renewal sales process
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.
Desirable / Essential Skills
- Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- SaleForce experience
- Able to work in a fast pace environment whilst maintaining accuracy to detail
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Outstanding timemanagement and selfmotivation skills
- Sales experience within the Energy Sector / working to stretching targets.
- Experience of working with Charities and notforprofit organisations.
