Permanent





HOURS:
38.5h per week





SHIFT PATTERN:
4 on and 4 off, mix of day and nights





PAY RATE:
£11.00 per hour


OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION


Security Officer will ensure exemplary standards of Security and Customer Service are always provided to the client and visitors to the site.

The role will be the public face of the Security Team and should always act with professionalism. A can-do attitude is essential in this highly influential role.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Be an ambassador of the site delivering first class guest focussed service each time.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guest needs and actively contributing to the efforts of all departments.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to be of assistance to visitors at the centre, proactively helping wherever opportunities arise.
  • Ensuring all incidents are managed in accordance with site policies and procedures.
  • Liaising with site control room proactively reacting to incidents and ensuring colleagues are fully briefed and always supported.
  • Intelligent understanding of human behaviour, monitoring and surveillance of suspect individuals, logging, and reporting incidents in line with site/company polices.
  • Maintain vigilance and highlight/manage unauthorised access by banned individuals.

Essential Requirements:


The security Officer role is a very customer facing, customer focused role requiring a proactive person who is friendly, approachable and a good communicator.


Qualifications:

  • Must meet all requirements to receive required SIA badges (if applicable), including successful completion of a background check and 5year work history. Training will be provided if required.
