Job Title:
Advanced Scaffolder


Location:
Birmingham, United Kingdom


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scaffolding team in the erection, dismantling, and modification of scaffolding structures
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Ensure that all scaffolding structures are erected in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Ensure that all scaffolding structures are stable and secure and that they can support the weight of workers, equipment, and materials
  • Liaise with the project manager and other trades on site to ensure that scaffolding is erected and dismantled in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inspect and maintain scaffolding structures to ensure that they are in good condition and safe to use
  • Supervise and mentor junior scaffolders and apprentices

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Advanced Scaffolder on various types of construction projects
  • CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity
  • A strong commitment to health and safety

Salary:
£24.00-£25.00 per hour
