Behaviour Support Assistant
We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistants to join schools in Bristol.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education of secondary school students between Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.

Bristol

Contract type:
Temporary

Salary:
£90 Per Day

Hours:8:30 - 16:00, Mon-Fri

Requirements:
Having a driving license is beneficial

Experience:
Previous experience supporting children with SEMH, experience in schools particularly PRU and APA environments, experience managing challenging behaviours

Responsibilities:

Managing challenging situations and diffusing conflicts
Supporting students with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and special educational needs (SEN)
Assisting the wider school community, both inside and outside the classroom
Working in the behaviour support unit and supporting teachers in lessons
Keeping students engaged and focused on tasks at hand
Building a positive rapport with students
