SRE to join their team that is responsible creating and maintaining the container stack and lifecycle by usingthe latest automation, and configuration management tooling.

About the role:
The
SRE encourages my client's tech team to develop and maintain container infrastructure.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the engineering teams across the globe as an SME on Kubernetes and other technologies owned by the Platforms team.

As a senior engineer you will be in charge of high impact pioneering projects, mentor team members technically and help foster good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will be involved in exciting greenfield projects and mitigatesome amount of legacy infrastructure.

Your daily responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining the container platform (Kubernetes)

Config management infrastructure administration (Puppet, Ansible)

CDN & Message Bus (Akamai, Kafka)

Cloud service operation (AWS)

Supporting Security efforts

Strong hands-on Linux experience.

Proven experience with scripting languages such as GoLang, Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash

Must have a passion and proven expertise working with Kubernetes and docker.

Solid understanding of cloud computing - AWS, GCE, Azure

Solid experience working with config management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack

Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines using tools such as Github, Artifactory, CircleCi, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker registry, etc.

Applied knowledge of working and communicating with a globally distributed team
