Here at the Willow Tree Federation in Lancaster we are looking for a Welfare Assistant to join our team and support our children throughout their lunch.

This role is for a fixed term of 1 year, February 2023 to January 2024
The Role
As a welfare assistant, you may be work across both sites, but your hours will remain the same. You will be expected to support our children at lunchtime and to work within the policies of the school.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience of working with/ supporting children.
  • Being able to interact with children.
  • Understanding/ experience of the safeguarding of children.
  • Demonstrate that they can work as part of a team.
Desirable Experience

  • A willingness to undertake relevant qualifications in the future.
