Cover Supervisor

Term Time plus 5 days

32.5hrs per week (8:30am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri)

Salary scale 5-9 (Grade 4)

£21,575 - £23,195 (£16,157 - £17,371 pro rata)

This is a key position within the support structure of the school. You will provide supervision of students across the 11-16 age range.

In this role you will need to respond to questions, generally assist students to undertake set activities and to uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom.

In addition to cover needs, there will also be a requirement to work alongside existing staff in specific curriculum areas proving general support for departments.

You will also manage cover for day to day and longer term absences for teaching staff to minimise the disruption to the learning process.


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, engaging, flexible and highly organised person with excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills, a good sense of humour and a positive attitude.

These are all essential for coping with the demands of a busy school environment.
