Salary - Grade- GBP £40,005 to £41, SO2- Contract Type- Permanent- Contracted Hours- Full Time - 36 hours per week- DBS Required- No- Department- Climate, Homes and Economy- Service- Public Realm- Closing date- 23/06/2024An opportunity has arisen for a permanent position of Supervisor within the Environmental Operational activities across Refuse, Recycling, Street Cleansing, Estates, Gully Clearance, Winter Maintenance, Markets, Graffiti Removal, and Internal Estate Cleansing, Bulky Waste collections including unregulated waste and hazardous wastes, and Weed Control, and all other services connected with the work that Environmental Operations undertake.

Post holders will be expected to cover day, evening, and night shifts as directed by Line Managers, and to take part in the weekend working rota, as well as bank holidays and special events.

Previous experience in delivering a high standard of work with a good level of customer service and of productivity is essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and deal with difficult situations.

The post holder is required to hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
