Purchasing Admin Assistant

The role of the Purchasing Admin Assistant will be to support the daily operations by placing purchase orders, chasing orders, investigating issues, and supporting improvements.


The role of Purchasing Admin assistant will include:

  • Place orders and check schedules in line with purchasing process
  • Maintain the purchasing order book to ensure timely delivery of parts, contacting supplier to ensure deliveries are met
  • Highlight potential issues in supply chain
  • Support operations with stock control and stock takes to maintain system accuracy
  • Create new part codes in line with new stock process
  • Assist the Manager in department related tasks

The experienced Purchasing Admin Assistant will have:

  • Proven experience with general purchasing process
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Use of stock management system
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge in the Microsoft Office Package
  • Knowledge of general supply chain procedures
