Trainee Amada Machine Operator

We are looking to recruit a full-time machine operator for our Amada Punch Machine to work in our busy manufacturing & production area.

Responsibilities

Operating Amada machine
Handling sheet metal
Checking and testing product
Finishing product

Skills, Experience and Person Specification

Experience of using similar machinery is desirable
Ability to follow instructions and diagrams
Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Must be reliable, conscientious and hard working
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable
Ability to work as part of a team

Job Specifics

This position is a late shift with 30 minutes for lunch (7.5 hours)

Training will be on a day shift 08:00 - 16:30.

Leave one hour earlier than your contracted finish time every Friday (will be paid)
A shift premium will be paid in addition to the base rate (once role moves to shifts)
