A top US law firm based in the heart of the city is looking to hire a new Senior IT Support Analyst on an initial 6 month FTC, to support the users in the London office with additional support to European and Asian offices.

The role is to work on a rotaof 8am - 4pm and 9.30am - 5.30pm, based 5 days in stunning offices in the city.

A salary of up to £49,000 is on offer plus overtime.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure endusers have satisfactory level of support by enforcing SLAs for IT support (Help Desk).
  • Extend first level support on hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Plan, direct and assure the timely completion of the work at the required level of quality to meet the long and shortterm needs of the firm.
  • Create and communicate a clear definition and understanding of the work requirements and goals as well as any constraints in terms of time, policy, cost, or quality.
  • Analyze problems, formulate solutions and alternatives, decide on the solution, and identify the work task that must be completed to achieve the expected results.
  • Assign the tasks to group members, arrange for assistance required from other IT/business groups and working with a project plan to achieve the goals.
  • Superior sense of ownership and urgency with the ability to triage incidents, problems, tasks.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories through standard asset management systems and procedures.
  • Setup and host conferences at the office, and on occasion, at an outside venue.
  • Superior troubleshooting skills with the ability to think quickly to get the customer up and running while multitasking on other activities.
  • Install and support computer, printer, office phones, and peripherals as needed.
  • Coordinate desk moves and new office setups.
  • Expert ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Firm employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Infrastructure changes as and when required including racking of routers and switches.
