This is one of the UK's largest retailers with having 1000 stores over its 20 years of trading.

This business is now setting its sights on the Far East and Australia making it a very exciting time to join the business.

As the Junior Merchandiser you will assist your Merchandiser with the management of the department with forecasting and controlling stock levels.

You will plan the season, run category reporting and monitor your best sellers alongside the buying team.

Junior Merchandiser Responsibilities:

???????You will be responsible for range building all new seasonal offers

Set clear strategies ahead of each trading period on what sales will be achieved, along with how.
You will be expected to work to a budget and manage general KPI's around this
Ensure all of your product ranges have a clear pricing architecture
Being mindful of the competition and any promotional activity you wish to implement.
You will actively review, monitor and pull historic data to support trading actions ahead of, or in season to drive sales for the business
You will be reactive to company's vertically integrated supplier base to be able to trade best sellers well.
Manage the daily line sales and update your forecasts for your area
Utilise OTB effectively with your wider buying and merchandising team
Own all WSSI's for your area, protecting stock vs sales at all times
Proactively develop and mentor an Assistant Merchandiser and other junior members
Delegate workload fairly and effectively

The retailer is experiencing rapid growth with store openings, ecom trading and are they partnering with some huge retailers to push more of their stock.
