Job Description JOB PURPOSE**- Undertake a programme of training to gain full working knowledge in all aspects of Maintenance.

Learn to carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs on the Stoneblower Fleet.
Support the existing maintenance team to maximise machine availability.

- _ Maths English C+ / level 4-9 / function Skills Lv.2_

Technical Skills

Knowledge & understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, electronic, fault finding & repair_

- _ IT literate including basic knowledge of Microsoft systems _
- _Calibration & understanding of rail plant operating _
- _Competent in current maintenance standards_

Additional Information KEY RESULT AREAS**- _ Completion of all college units in the appropriate timeframes and to a level that satisfies the management team._
- _ Integrate work experience into college theory work and provide management with quarterly presentation updates. _
- _Use and interpret a range of engineering data sources and supporting documentation._

- _ Support the existing maintenance team with servicing and minor repairs, making sure their completed within required timeframe._

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- _ Complete all college work within the set deadline periods, and complete work to a high standard._
- _ Provide management with a quarterly presentation outlining the work completed during the period with "lessons learnt" section at the end._
- _ Report any defects found on machine & carry out repairs within required competency level for the role or under instruction from skilled engineer or supervisor_
- _ Ensure planned maintenance duties are completed in line with company policies & procedures & work instructions_
- _ Ensure working environment is maintained as required by 5S_
- _ Inform supervisor of any issues / problems in a timely manner, which are outside your remit of control_
- _ Operate machine for maintenance purposes, as required_
- _ Ensure regularly updated & compliant with company policies & procedures_
- _ Awareness of company communication via notice boards_
- _ Be responsible for the care of company assets_
- _ To undertake training as required_
- _ Ensure compliance with competence assessment systems_
- _ Comply with the Company Code of Conduct_
