Description

Activity co-ordinator for adults with learning disabilities, Autism and mental health.

ideally a driver with a UK full license of more than 3 years to support service users to access community activities.

Duties may include:

Liaise with external companies to organise entertainment
Listening to the residents though conversation and questionnaires to aid producing a popular program of events/activities/entertainment
Develop a rapport with local community churches, voluntary placements, gyms ect
Work alongside support staff, coordinating hairdressing/chiropody visits etc.

About you:

We are looking for a cheerful, outgoing, passionate individual with a creative flair.

The ideal person will be organised and have some experience working with in the care sector, therefore being able to understand the needs of the people we support aiding activity choices.

No experience as activates co-ordinator is required but a positive, enthusiastic attitude is a must.
