We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated person to join our friendly team of staff.As an MLA (advanced), you will play a key role in helping to deliver and develop our comprehensive Microbiology service.
You will have a positive, professional approach to patient care and be keen to work as part of a busy, highly skilled team.
You will be expected to actively participate in the training of the MLA team, as well as to be pro-active in your own continued development.
You will support Biomedical Science staff by maintaining analytical equipment, preparing biological specimens for analysis and performing QC procedures.
You will help to meet quality standards necessary for accreditation, and ensure that protocols are followed in a way that maintains Health, Safety and Information Security for individuals, the Department and the Trust.
