We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to deliver our objective of supporting schools and community organisations to deliver positive activities for children and young people.

The role includes providing information, advice and support to primary schools, including guidance around creating a whole school approach to physical activity.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working in schools and/or organisations who work with children and young people, delivering projects and with excellent communication and organisational skills.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
