Gear Grinder required for a manufacturing company in Leamington Spa.

Gear Grinder, Setter/Operator

  • Gear Grinding of aerospace and automotive transmission components
  • Programme Set and Operate on
    Opal & Hofler Gear Grinders.
  • Using Klingelnberg PNC 100/P26 for inspection of own work being able to interpret and qualify results.
  • Be able to graph components and read and qualify results.
  • Ensure parts are to drawing, and of an acceptable standard.
They are looking for someone with previous similar gear grinding experience.
Desirable but not essential is any experience of Bevel Gear Grinding and/or Manual Grinding.
The starting salary is up to £35,000 for day time hours. The company has opportunities for regular dayshift, and separate roles on a nightshift.
There are also opportunities for CNC Grinders as well.
