Introduction:

Our client is a leading Defence organisation supporting Military communications for the MOD.

Primarily they will be supporting the MOD's satellites and ground stations, including the integration of terminals into the MOD network, ensuring they are integrated and supported.

The Assurance Case Lead will ensure that the systems designed and built meet the contract and security/safety requirements and are sustainable.

Hybrid working, likely 2 days per week in Bristol office and on customer sites, the rest of the work can be done remotely.

Key responsibilities:

Organising and managing all assurance events.
Ensure that the programme Verification, Validation, and Test Strategy is delivered.
Make sure the Assurance Case is created and subsequently maintained through contract life.
Own the programme VV&T Strategy, the creation and execution of all internal and customer acceptance events, the production of VV&T reports and delivery of the overall Assurance Case.
Presenting the specific evidence required to demonstrate to the project, customers and stakeholders that the team, processes and systems employed meet contract requirements and are sustainable for the long term.
Work with the team to ennsure that the Verification and Validation Requirements Matrix is maintained.

Skills & experience:

Systems Engineering or full lifecycle project management experience.
The creation and sustainment of an Assurance Case in a complex defence and telecommunication project.
Practice in demonstrating Service Assurance and JSP604 compliance.
