Are you an experienced IT helpdesk professional, looking for a new challenge in your career? Do you have demonstrable experience in assisting with the day to day running of an efficient and effective helpdesk? Have you previously acted as a technical escalationpoint for any issues arising that can't be solved at 1 st line level? I'm looking to speak with individuals who can guide and support the helpdesk team in terms of their own development.
You will be able to demonstrate that you can develop and manage 3 rd party relationships, ensuring the company is getting value for money.
You must be able to manage skills resources to allow the business and other teams to assist with any business projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the helpdesk team, ensuring issues at all levels are logged, prioritised and resolved within agreed SLA's
Act as an escalation point for any technical and customer management issues
Offer support and guidance to the helpdesk team to aid their development
Ensure processes are adhered to when reporting on service delivery
Provide access control management, ensuring the right people have the right access to the necessary resources
Plan and provide IT skills resources to the wider business to ensure projects can be completed
Develop and manage 3 rd party relationships
2-3 years helpdesk experience
Driven to see issues resolved in a timely manner
Strong leadership and problem solving capabilities
Excellent organisational and collaborative skills
Desired experience with:
ITIL processes
Vivantio or other helpdesk management software
Office 365 and Active Directory
Windows Server
TCP/IP and LAN Networking
Telephony systems such as Mitel or Ring Central
