Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join the Leeds CAMHS Crisis Team.

We assess young people who have presented in Leeds Emergency Departments (A&E) with mental health difficulties, offering follow up and signposting onto appropriate services.

We also offer urgent assessments for young people and families and are looking for registered clinicians with experience in managing risk to join us.

We are committed to developing skills and offer induction and training as well as access to specialist training underpinned in effective appraisal management.

You will have opportunities to gain experience in other specialist CAMHS areas.

The team is strategically committed to developing its crisis offer to include the potential for diverting referrals away from A&E and broadening its referral options.

The post will include shift work including regular unsocial hours. Shift work covering 8am - 8.30pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
