Description
We are looking for Strategic Lead for business support service.What we want you to do:
- To act as a member of the Senior Management Team and take a lead role in developing and implementing strategies, policies and plans related to the business support function.
- Provide specialist knowledge, challenge, and support to the senior management team to support and shape business development and improvement.
- Have direct line management for business support function and associated management responsibilities.
- To take the lead in ensuring business improvement, transformation, delivery activities/programmes and
inspection readiness.
- Lead service improvement activity and quality assurance frameworks in relation to the business support
where appropriate learning from best practice locally and nationally.
- Continuously review, maintain, monitor and evaluate systems and processes to ensure they are streamlined
service provision ensuring technology supports and improves service delivery.
- To monitor and report on allocated budgets to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency.
- To represent the service on corporate responsibility such as health and safety, business continuity and
- Act as the service risk management lead and address areas of non-compliance following audits where
- Horizon scan for new approaches and opportunities, learning from others in the region and beyond, feeding
- Benchmark best practice and create innovative ways to solve business problems, including methods and

Knowledge
