In-House Head of Employment Tax, Financial Services

£110,000 + bonuses & benefits

Hybrid model of remote working from home/the office


This is an exciting, commercially focused and highly unusual opportunity with senior-level exposure and a substantial advisory focus (mostly centred on employment taxes and global mobility).


We are looking for the following CV attributes:

  • Chartered Tax Advisor and/or Tax Lawyer (essential)
  • Recognised employment tax SME with solid technical grounding and advisory track record.
  • Wider experience in operational/policyholder taxes & pension schemes advantageous.
  • Accustomed to operating in a complex and regulated corporate environment financial services experience strongly preferred.
  • Likely Tax Director level from an inhouse, or accountancy/legal practice background.
  • The right to work permanently in the UK without sponsorship requirements (essential)
  • Exceptional communication and senior stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to lead and inspire a division of experienced tax professionals
  • Able to give granular attention to processes and details where necessary, while still tending to the bigger picture in both stakeholder management and negotiations
