Jardox are currently recruiting a Sample Room Assistant to join our friendly team in our Sample Room above our food manufacturing facility in Sevenoaks.

At Jardox, we are the "Taste Behind the Brands." Based in Sevenoaks and Wincanton, we are a 'one stop shop' for all savoury ingredients.

We specialise in stocks, gravies, curry pastes, marinades, glazes, sausage & burger seasonings and herb & spice based products.

Your day will involve...

Making food products by following a recipe and weighing out ingredients to create a product which is then assessed before despatching to customers

Packaging food products for despatch to customers

Administering a computer system associated with creating customer samples

Cleaning the sample room and associated equipment

Maintaining stocks of raw materials from the factory warehouse

Working with our New Product Development team

Interacting with the Production team to obtain ingredients and packaging

If you have a basic food hygiene qualification, that would be brilliant, but if you're keen to learn, we are happy to train you.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who doesn't mind being quite active whilst working and moving around each day, with good attention to detail.

This role is full time, working 8am - 5pm (with a 4.30pm finish most days). 25 days paid holiday.

We close between Christmas and New Year and contribute to your pension at a rate of 5.5%. Holiday allowance is 33 days (FTE, bank holidays included).
