A position has arisen for a friendly, efficient and organised administrator at our Norfolk Lakes school's residential site in Lyng.
The role is Monday to Friday 9-3 with the possibility of being term time only if required.Job Summary
The role of the administrator is to assist with the day to day administration tasks to support the smooth & efficient running of the centre and to provide reception cover of all incoming calls & greet visitors to the centre.
Main responsibilities:
Office Administration
- Accurately & effectively take & pass on messages
- Monitor the entrance intercom system and greet visitors to the centre on arrival.
- Provide administrative support to the head of centre
- To oversee the efficient running of the office and ensure that stationary supplies & equipment are available & maintained
- Ensure post is sent
- To process all Operations packs and associated administration in the required timeframe for schools visiting Norfolk lakes
- To keep an up to date calendar of Confirmed and provisional bookings
- To collate and distribute required information from schools prior to their arrival, including medicals & dietaries
- To allocate appropriate and suitable site accommodation for visiting schools
- To liaise closely and work alongside the head office booking administrator in relation to schools and their bookings
- To maintain confidentiality of information and reconcile / dispose of / store in a suitable manner
- To undertake & record regular checks of first aid supplies and on site kits, ordering items to keep replenished
- To undertake & record regular fire equipment checks in line with company policy
- To provide 'inhouse' H.R. support to include new starter packs, sickness & holiday records
- To provide administrative support as and when required to the activities manager specifically training plans, reviews, capability sign off's, reporting of accidents and record keeping.
- To assist with running of in house tuck shop
- Computer competency in word, excel, outlook. Good keyboard skills.

Desirable requirements
- First aid trained
Ability to use initiative, & react accordingly as per the needs of the business
