Description

Our Acute Medical Unit is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Ward clerk who will be able to carry out administrative duties to maintain the smooth running of the ward.

You will need to be flexible, honest, good team player, computer literate, be able to work as part of the team and able to work long day and nights

  • Monday to Sunday.


You will be required to greet and welcome all persons entering the ward, checking identification of staff requiring access to patient information, answering the telephone at all times by adhering to the Trust telephone protocol and maintaining good communication and relationships with patients/relatives and members of the MDT.


You will liaise with other wards and departments as required to maintain accurate and up to date patient records andensure that the ward bed state is up to date and correct on a daily basis by entering admissions, ward attenders and EPR changes.
